MILITARY PHOTOGRAPHY

We have worked with the military on a wide variety of commissions, including pre-deployment and post-deployment battalion and regimental, squadron, troop, flight, unit, large format groups, parade photography, Mess functions for Summer & Christmas balls, parades in civic centres and family portrait days in Messes - we're confident we can cater for all your photographic needs. Whilst serving in the British Army, and trained as an Army photographer, working all over the world in just about every possible situation for over 18 years and with over 36 years' professional photographic experience, Anthony has a great understanding of the specific needs and requirements of the military. We specialise in 'casual' military group photography on Salisbury Plain and across the UK. Our service on group photography is of the highest quality and second to none. Also note that we are able to provide full formal 'staging' for large groups (parade square/official VIP visits/historical - these will (usually) need to be on hard-standing).

If you are looking for a portrait service for a forthcoming Mess event then there are a few things that we think you should know about our photography service.

Firstly, the service is (usually) free. We do not charge an attendance fee but we do require enough space to set up our lights and backdrop, and a bite to eat at some point during the proceedings. Usually we only charge for what is ordered (by individuals)

Secondly, we do not take any money on the night. We are able to take payment on the night in cash or by card but it is not usually required but we can provide this facility - it is simply easier (and safer!) to take Mess or Regimental numbers and return all orders to the Mess/Regiment along with one invoice for your Mess/designated accountant. Individuals placing an order will usually choose their what they want during the event and be required to sign that they have placed the order and therefore have agreed to have their order charged to their Mess bill. Individuals get to see their images at the event.

Thirdly, we do not print on the night. We cannot provide the highest quality of service by providing photos printed on an instant printer. Other photography companies may be happy to pass off unedited and instant products - but not Trinity Photography! We pride ourselves on the service and product we provide, and to do that takes time. We aim to deliver all prints back to the Mess within a week or so of the event or within an agreed time-frame suitable for you (e.g. in the New Year and not over a Christmas break/stand-down period!). Here you can see a sample of one of our finalised 'Main HQ Wall' frames. It is sized according to the format/aspect ratio of the group but this is most commonly a panoramic format. It is provided inclusive of artwork but can equally be without artwork. Note that this style of frame is NOT the same as our 'Value Frame' range. Mutiple orders of Main HQ Wall frames attract reduced rates. Main HQ Wall frames can be any size required. There is no set format. These frames have full artwork and matting as standard. Pretty much any style can be created for you.

Our 'Value Frame' is what is usually ordered personally. Its length/height can be as large as 36"x12" and as small as 15"x6" framed. Its height (max12") and length (max 36") are dictated by the shape of the group. Other bespoke sizes can, of course, be made. Note that pretty much any size/format can be created of course.

We also do packages without frames - i.e. prints only (with or without artwork) or we can make provision for any combination of frames and prints as required. Prints may be as small as 12" on the long side and pretty much as large as you wish!
